What truly makes an experienced diver?

What truly makes an experienced diver?

It's not the number of dives in your logbook—it's the decisions you make underwater.

An experienced diver:
• Has excellent buoyancy and good air consumption.
• Stays calm and solves problems without panic.
• Plans every dive carefully and checks their equipment.
• Knows their limits and isn't afraid to call off a dive when conditions aren't right.
• Respects and protects the marine environment.
• Looks after their buddy as much as themselves.
• Never stops learning, no matter how many dives they've logged.

In the end, the most experienced divers aren't the ones who take the biggest risks—they're the ones who know they don't have to.
